Ducks swimming

Ducks swimming  Oil on canvas panel  9,4"X  7,4"
Always I continue two of more lines of work, and in this this case it is a picture more traditionally, based on the realism. It is complicated to paint the water and I have tried to summarize in few colors all these reflections.

Piled up fruits

Piled up fruits Oil on canvas panel 6,2"X 8,6"
This it´s a new painting  of this series in which I am leaving parts of the background in white and playing with the effects of the wet painting. I enjoy too much, and it´s more difficult that to not cover parts of the first stage that to finish the fruits. It is necessary to be able to leave the picture in time

Landscape of daisies

Landscape of daisies 5,1"X 13,7" Acrylic on masonite
I have been several weeks doing sketches in order to give a draft to my painting, and I have come to this point. It was seeking to break the spaces inside the picture and to adapt to the sketch. Here I am in an intermediate point between the abstraction and the realism, giving major definition to both manners, it looks like to me a creative way and I have enjoyed enough doing it. I hope to can upload one a day.

Opened fruits

Opened fruits -Oil on canvas panel  6,2"X8,6"
I have returned to paint the fruits this time with oil, and though in color there is no too many difference, the texture is more organic. I like this type of compositions since it makes look like the objects bigger of what they are and allows the game of lights and contrasts. Nevertheless I am doing sketches to approach the same type of topics more free and defined at the same time. Soon  I will post it.

Stormy clouds

Stormy clouds 6"X 6" Acrylic on masonite
Always it is a challenge to paint a cloudy sky, in this case it´s harder for being a late afternoon, there are too complex colors to be painted by direct painting and it is necessary to apply glazings. The photo that one sees is more similar to the picture , since also it is difficult to photograph a picture of this type. I choose this topic for his abstract component inside which it is a realistic picture, and the emotion of the colors.

The orange cavern

The orange cavern 6"X 6" Acrylic on masonite
It is gratifying to paint the interior of this fruit, for which all his folds look like a cave, and lends very much to the game of lights and shades, there are different colors that could to happen an entire year it painting, any color remains stable, but it is mutating constant. This serious the perfect picture for my, thick painting and colourist who is mutating constant in fresh, with a texture to Rembrandt, and the control of Vermeer's light. It serious to appear very highly, at the moment I still enjoying with "the Jewish Bride" of Rembrandt, and trying to learn something-

Nuts and citric fruits

Nuts and citric fruits. 7,8"X 7,8" Acrylic on canvas panel
Continuing with the small compositions I decide for painting fruits under the direct light of the Sun, it is a very strong light that there provokes a wonderful and natural contrast. The irregularities of an opened and illuminated fruit are similar to a landscape itself, and it is easy to come to the hyperrealism from there, though I have prefered remaining in an intermediate point.

The beginning of a paintwork

The beginning of a paintwork. 6"X6" Oil on masonite.
I am employed at a new series of still lifes which topic is basically small objects of my house, with a subject matter similar to the hyperrealism but with a treatment more spontaneously, this it is the first one, where there can be seen the elements that form the beginning of a picture.
